The Ross family didn’t start out making natural cleansers. Together with his father Frank, Bernie ran a booming industrial supply company. Sadly, Bernie’s enjoyment of his success was tempered by concern for his wife, who suffered from severe skin allergies every time she used traditional cleaning products. Eventually Bernie Sr. determined that his wife was suffering from environmental allergies and designed a pair of all-natural, hypoallergenic cleaning products specifically for her needs. Her symptoms began to improve almost immediately.
Together with their two sons, Bernie Jr. and Blake, the Ross family began sharing their homemade products (initially an all-purpose cleaner and a shampoo) with family and friends and received an overwhelming response.
45 years later, Nature Clean is one of Canada’s most successful natural cleaning product companies, with a variety of products for home and personal care. Most Nature Clean products are hypo-allergenic, phosphate-free, sulfate-free, chlorine-free and made from simple natural ingredients. The majority of Nature Clean products are offered unscented; however a line of scented products infused with essential oils is available.
